Booster Sets - Earls Court Redevelopment
Penstar have been involved with supplying a large number dual booster pump sets for pressure boosting and dust suppression requirements during the redevelopment of the well-known Earls Court site in London.
Irritec Connecto Plus fittings - WRAS Approval, Autumn 2012
Our range of compression fittings for MDPE pipework, the Connecto Plus range by Irritec, have recently been granted WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) Approval. This certifies that they are compliant with the United Kingdom Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Scottish Byelaws.
Malawi, Autumn 2011
The villagers of Kandle were delighted with the clean water on tap at the Health Centre and the volunteers returned in the summer to fit a second pump and sterliisation system on the water supply to the village.
The latest project has been to install a submersible pump in a borehole to provide irrigation water for crops. The scope of this project has increased and Penstar is delighted to be part of it.
Appointed UK Distributor for Aquatel New Zealand, October 2011
We have been appointed UK distributor for Aquatel, New Zealand.
Aquatel are specialists in the design and manufacture of wireless tank fluid level indicators and pump controllers.
Their products employ the use of ultrasonic sensors to monitor fluid level within the remote tank(s) and a wireless radio link to relay signals back to the monitor or controller.

Royal Welsh Show, July 2011
In collaboration with the Dairy Development Centre at Gelli Aur, Carmarthen, Penstar has provided a working display on their stand at the Royal Welsh Show 18th - 21st July at Builth Wells.
Part of the remit of the Dairy Development Centre is to advise farmers on the energy efficiency of their farm operations and Penstar is able to advise on the use of variable speed drives to reduce energy use for water pumping.
The pumping display unit demonstrates how the power used to operate a variable speed pumping system is considerably reduced when the demand is low.

Malawi, Spring 2011
Volunteers from the Community Church in Narberth recently went to Malawi to assist in the construction of a much needed health clinic.
Penstar was involved with designing and supplying a water treatment system for purifying the water from Lake Malawi for this new health clinic.
